Company

At Premier Dance, we have our performance groups called our “Company” classes. These groups are a great opportunity for our students to perform and expand upon their “stagecraft”. These classes do require a high level of commitment from the dancers, as attendance at all normal lessons as well as all company rehearsals are compulsory.

Our Company dancers have a multitude of performance opportunities throughout the year between local school fetes, fundraising events, as well as our mid-year charity performance and end-of-year Concert.

​

One of the performance opportunities is the mid-year Charity Concert in partnership with our sister school, Sayers Dance Centre. All proceeds from these performances go towards each school’s chosen charity. We will again support the Mater Little Miracles and Sayers will support Youngcare. In 2019, we raised over $20,000 which was divided between these two wonderful organisations. Next year will be the 13th year that Premier Dance will be donating to Mater Little Miracles. This foundation helps provide the funds necessary for specialized equipment for premature babies in the Neonatal Care Unit of the Mater Hospital.
