Private Lessons

Private Lessons offer an opportunity for students at Premier Dance to further their technique and passion for dance in a one-on-one lesson with an experienced teacher.

There are many reasons why students may choose to take addition Private Lessons, including:

Leading up to Ballet Exams.
Commencing Ballet or RAD Syllabus for the first time.
Learning/rehearsing choreography for eisteddfod solos.
After an extended absence.
To temporarily replace a group syllabus class.

In 2021, we are offering private lessons at Milton on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays in Studio 3 or 5, which are suitably spaced studios for technical focus. The teachers available for these lessons differ depending on the day of the week. Private Lessons in Studio 3 and Studio 5 are best used by students wishing to increase their ballet technique and focus on specific areas of their dancing.

Closer to ballet exams there may be Sunday private lessons available. These will allow teachers and students to take advantage of the free larger studios, usually allocated to group classes during the week. With the additional space available, these time slots are best suited to students wishing to learn or rehearse studies; competition items; or eisteddfod pieces.

Private Lessons at our Clayfield studios can be organised upon application.

Enrolment into private lessons may be done through our Milton office. We will notify you throughout the year in the case of timetable changes that might allow for greater availability for private lessons.

Upon booking Private Lessons at the Premier Dance Academy, you will agree to abide by the Terms & Conditions outlined below:

We ask that all private lessons be paid for in advance. The lesson(s) will not be booked/confirmed until payment has been made.
24 hours’ notice is required should you wish to cancel. Whilst we understand unforeseen circumstances do arise we must take into account that the teacher has already been booked. Therefore, full payment is required when under 24 hours’ notice is given.
No refunds are permitted for private lessons, unless the school cancels your lesson. If you have given us the agreed 24 hours’ notice, your account will be given a credit to be used for further dance tuition fees.
To maximise the benefit of the private lesson, parents are kindly asked to remain outside of the studio for the duration of the lesson, unless requested by the teacher.
